SERENATION

SERENATION

Even At 30, Serena Proves Her Dominance On Grass By Beating Radwanska To Clinch Her Fifth Wimbledon Title

London: Knees bent, feet apart, Serena Williams swung through her backhand in classic fashion, outpacing Agnieszka Radwanska to close out the 122-minute final. The American then tossed aside her racket and fell on her back, covering her face with her broad palms. Up in the players’ box, older sister Venus, a five-time champion here, was on her feet, clapping, cheering, tears streaming down her face. A few minutes later after the trophy presentation ceremony, Serena looked up at Venus and said, “I must have everything you have, Venus and now I have five just like you. I copied you again.”
